11/08/08 - David Stremme started his Rusty Wallace Racing No. 64 Avis Chevrolet in the 9th position for Saturday's Hefty Odor Block 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. Stremme and team were able to stay in the top-10 by racing through the field and gaining on pit road. On a restart after a caution, leader Kevin Harvick brought the field to the green. An accordian-like affect due to slow restart speed ruined Stremme's night as he crashed into the back of another car. Stremme took his machine behind the wall for 24 laps. When Stremme returned to the track, he was able to keep up a competitive speed and finished the race 35th. Stremme fell from 11th to 12th in NASCAR Nationwide Series standings. Stremme is only 149 points out of 10th.
